thanks man! and now that v6 is over i can finally read all the chapters :) ubel blatt is awesome. its like berserk but without the 3 months wait for a 12 pages chapter :)
Neues Schwert literally means "New Blade" or "New Sword" in German.
Also, Sklaveritter means "Slave Knight" or more appropriately Servant Knight although in this context Retainer would probably be the closest English equivalent.
Okay, okay, I know what "Baka" means, but I always wondered why translators just don't translate some words. I can understand leaving it when there isn't really a corresponding word in English (like with honorifics). But am I the only person who get's bugged when random words are just left in Japanese even when they can be easily translated?
I mean we should all know what "Watashi going to school today" and "Anata are kawaii" and "I suki you" mean, but don't they sound odd as hell and out of place?
Mauzel, I'm not trying to trash you at all. In fact I am eternally greatful for the speed at which you are putting out this translation. But I always wondered why some translators select out random words to just leave untranslated.
Well, the biggest reason for using Baka instead of an alternative is that... for some reason, it sounds milder... In comparison to popular english words like Idiot and stupid... Baka sounds, less, offensive? XD
Absolutely great work! Much appreciated.
